Introduction

Ignite introduces a paradigm shift for Avalanche Subnets, making it easier and cheaper than ever to launch Avalanche validators and Subnets.

Built from the ground-up to be permissionless and flexible, Ignite offers an alternative approach to launching Avalanche validators. Unlike traditional validating that often requires significant financial resources, Ignite removes the economic barriers that can prevent aspiring developers and builders from accessing cutting-edge Web3 technology.

Ignite has two validation options – Pay As You Go (PAYG) and Stake.

Pay As You Go (PAYG)

Minimum stake: 0 AVAX Minimum fee: 4 AVAX/week

The PAYG validation service is a rental model service that drastically reduces the amount of capital required to launch an Avalanche validator.

Pay once (in USDC, AVAX or QI), input your NodeID, set your staking duration and Ignite will provide all the AVAX needed to launch a validator.

The fee schedule per validator is as follows:

Stake

Stake formula: 500 AVAX to 1800 AVAX + 10% borrowed AVAX in QI Minimum stake: 500 AVAX + 150 AVAX worth of QI Fee: $0

The Stake validation service requires a mix of AVAX and QI collateral to get started, with no fees attached to using it.

The minimum amount of stake to get started is 500 AVAX + 150 AVAX worth of QI. You will earn staking rewards pro rata of your AVAX stake.

At the end of the staking period, users can claim their AVAX + QI stake and network rewards (including delegation fees).
